After breaking up with his girlfriend last summer, Pavel Callta got into himself, started working out and wasn’t afraid to show his half-naked body to his fans on Instagram. However, it is precisely similar activities that have started to limit his time considerably recently, so he decided to delete his Instagram account and live a real life.
Haven’t heard from you in a while. How did you spend Christmas?
Like every year, I was in Moravia with my family, and this year it was very intense, because my little nephew Filipek experienced Jesus like never before and was so happy that I have not experienced such emotions for a long time. I like traditions, so carp, carp soup, Beds, Home Alone, Crazy Sad Princess, I just love it and paint it.

How about your entry into the new year?
Just before New Year’s Eve, I got quite sick, so it looked like I would spend New Year’s at home, but in the end I recovered, took pills and spent New Year’s Eve with my family and friends in Děčín. It was a great end to 2023.
Are you planning any changes this year?
I confess that I am already experiencing life changes. I recently deleted Instagram so that I can focus more on reality, in addition to planning a move from Prague and new construction projects that have been on my mind for a long time. As for music, I’m finishing a new single and working on a fifth album.

Why did you delete your Instagram?
Somehow I got the feeling that I needed a change, at least for a while. People spend a lot of time online even if they don’t want to. And if the account isn’t on the phone, he doesn’t tend to go there, which is great.
Do you plan to renew it again in time?
When I release a new single or album and the concerts start, I’d like to let my fans and listeners know, so I’ll be back from time to time, but maybe I’ll take these breaks more often from time to time. It’s liberating, as cliche as it sounds.
What do you like to do in your spare time for activities?
At the moment, I am mostly involved in the construction project, as I enjoy the renovation of houses. Otherwise, I like the sauna, swimming and freediving, I write new songs and exercise when the mood is right. But now in the winter I prefer mountains and snowboarding to fitness, so I’m often on the board.

How do you usually write your songs?
I usually compose the music first and then start writing the lyrics. When I have a muse, it happens that I write a complete song in one night, but it is individual. Sometimes I write a song for months, it depends on the inspiration.
What about you and relationships? Is new love on the horizon?
More than half a year ago, we broke up with an ex-girlfriend we had been with for a long time. Breakups are painful, even if they are mutual. We tried to put it together again, but it didn’t work.
You recently released the single Poems about us two. Is this song about said relationship?
Yes, the post-breakup period was not easy for either of us, from which this song emerged.

It’s been a while since you broke up, are you currently engaged?
I met someone recently, so we’ll see. I don’t want to shout it, but I’ve been feeling really good lately.
Will you invite fans to one of your concerts?
The 2024 summer season is currently being booked and I have to say with gratitude that we have beautiful concerts in many great places, so I look forward to seeing you on stage.
