Fashion designer Pavel Berky, who is also known for his participation in the last series MasterChef Česko, boasted of a joyful newspaper on his social networks. He asked for the hand of his long-term partner, singer and choreographer Matěj Pardus.

The couple met in 2012 at a concert by Matěj. Since then, they have been building together Pavel’s clothing brand Pavel Berky, which is celebrating success all over the world.
In 2018, they presented a new collection as part of the fashion week in New York and London; in the past, the brand also appeared at the Prague fashion week or in Bratislava and Budapest. Matěj performs musically under the pseudonym Matt Pardus and has a duet with Iveta Bartošová, as a frontman for the Lunetic or British Kosheen tour.
Like two doves
He also accompanied dance to, for example, Karel Gott, the band Nightwork or the American duo Nina Sky. In 2019, you could see him on the main stage of Prague Pride, where he performed for several thousand participants.
Matěj and Pavel understand each other not only in personal life, but also in work. They support and complement each other in their careers. Pavel Matěje and his dance group dress for concerts and video clips, and Matěj helps Pavel with management and e-shop, takes photos and shoots food and recipes, and is currently working on Pavel’s first cookbook, which is already in advance and will be released next month.
They searched when they found each other
