The list with the most valued players is the product of a report released by the Transfermarkt website. The portal is a specialist in the price of soccer players throughout the world.
Diaz ranks eighth on the list. According to the information, his pass is valued at 7 million euros, after definitively establishing himself as one of the benchmarks in River Plate’s defense. In fact, he renewed his contract until 2024 with the club.
At the national level, meanwhile, Díaz’s importance increases. He is the fourth highest value Chilean footballer. It is surpassed by Guillermo Maripán at number one, as a result of its appraisal at 15 million euros. Second place goes to Ben Brererton (10 million euros) and then it appears Erick Pulgar (8.5 million euros).
Finally, Julián Álvarez, Díaz’s teammate at River Plate, who was transferred to Manchester City for 23 million euros, leads the tournament in Argentina. The podium was then completed by Ulises de la Cruz, also from River Plate (16 million euros), and the striker from Colón de Santa Fe, Facundo Farías (13 million euros).
