Paulina Porizkova (57) was one of the most famous models in the world in the 80s and 900sand has walked some of the most prestigious runways around.

Recently, the former supermodel was a guest on ‘Red Table Talk’ and opened up about finding her ex-husband dead in bed, she writes People. She married Cars frontman Ric Ocasek in 1989.
The couple split shortly before his death in 2019, and Porizkova was there for Ocasek in the final days before his death.
He had cancer
In the show, the 57-year-old says her ex-husband underwent surgery after doctors found he had lung cancer. Ocasek was said to be in good shape following the surgery and was on his feet after just two weeks.

One evening he told Porizkova that he was tired and wanted to go to bed. The next day, she notices that her ex-husband is sleeping long, but she ignores him because she was, after all, a rock star.
She explains that it was not uncommon for him to sleep a little long, but when the clock struck 11:00 she decided to wake him up with a cup of coffee on the bed.
– They no longer looked like eyes
The 57-year-old explains that she went into the bedroom and still thought Ocasek was just sleeping. It wasn’t until she put the coffee on the nightstand that she realized he had died during the night.
– I put the coffee next to him, and that’s when I saw his face. I saw his eyes. And they didn’t look like eyes anymore, he says.
He lost his life instantly
Ocasek would later be found to have died of natural causes. He is survived by his sons Jonathan and Oliver, whom he had with Porizkova.
She also had four other children from previous relationships, Christopher, Eron, Derek and Adam.
