Paulhiac. We find Cyril Orlando in his “Ferme de Lacassenade”

Cyril Orlando is a farmer-breeder of chickens very active on his farm “La Ferme de Lacassenade” in the town of Paulhiac and his days are very busy. The chickens raised on grain on site have acquired a good reputation for the quality of their meat and are tasted on the spit in some summer markets, to order at the farm and cooked for the home preserves that can be obtained in the shop open at the farm. Other local producers have joined Cyril and all of them have in common that they only offer very diverse quality products: canned food from “La Ferme de Lacassenade”, prepared dishes from “l’Auberge de Biron” (ballotine with prunes and porcini mushrooms, veal and chicken tagine with prunes and hazelnuts), fresh milk and cheeses (cow and goat), eggs, honey from Corconat, craft beers, flour, soaps, confectionery and ice cream from the Plessis farm, seasonal baskets on order and subscription … The shop is open on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and (except for a pandemic!) You can find all these products at the gourmet markets in the area and at the Moulinal campsite.
