“Sibelius’s violin concert requires the soloist to tear himself to the stage.

Paula Šūmane talks about the upcoming concert in Liepāja. “The composition has a rich symphonic pattern. Although the solo part of the violin is particularly virtuoso and technically complex, the sound of the orchestra is so important that this work could also be called a symphony with the solo voice of the violin. I feel full and honored to cooperate again with the Liepaja Symphony Orchestra and maestro Gintars Rinkevics. I know that my stage colleagues will also be throwing themselves in this wildly beautiful concert program to create and experience the miracle of art together with the listeners. ”
