According to TMZ, Abdul claims that Lythgoe entered an elevator at their hotel and pushed her up against the wall as soon as the elevator door closed. According to Abdul, he must have felt her on the breasts and in the abdomen and tried to kiss her with his tongue.
The singer and talent judge’s version of the incident is that she tried to push him away and that she ran to her room as soon as the elevator door opened.
Abdul claims that she immediately informed her representatives about the incident, but that she decided to remain silent for fear of reprisals.
Thought she was going to a work meeting
The second assault must have happened in 2015 when she was a judge in the dance competition “So You Think You Can Dance”, equivalent to “Dance Fever” here in Norway.
According to Abdul, Lythgoe is said to have then invited her to his home to discuss career opportunities, which she is said to have accepted because she thought it was a professional connection.
Instead, she once again ended up in a situation where Lythgoe assaulted her, according to Abdul – who also claims she witnessed the producer molest one of Abdul’s assistants on one occasion.

TMZ writes that they have tried to get a comment from Nigel Lythgoe, who has so far not responded to the inquiry.
