Paul Stanley, singer of Kiss, announces a new musical project and a new album – Las Noticias de Chihuahua – Entrelíneas

Paul Stanley, founding member and singer of Kiss, announced Wednesday the release of the album “Now And Then” on March 5, the result of a new musical project for which he has formed a group called Soul Station.

It is about fifteen musicians, as explained by their record company, among which Rafael “Hoffa” Moreira (guitar), Sean Hurley (bass), Alex Alessandroni (keyboards), Ely Rise (keyboards), Eric Singer (drums) and RayYslas (percussions).

Back in the studio, back from performing with them in small intimate clubs in the United States and Japan, he wanted to pay homage to some of the artists and songs in the classic soul and r & b catalog.

“I started to think that neither the band nor the music that we like should depend on the past only, so I started to compose in order to bring certain songs to the present. From what many people have told me that I respect, this mission has been fulfilled, ”Stanley himself explained on the genesis and purpose of“ Now And Then ”in statements collected by his label.

It is now possible to listen to the first preview song of this new music and record project, the song “OOH Child”.

Paul Stanley (New York, 1952) is one of the legends of international rock with more than 50 years of career, which includes the formation of Kiss in 1973 with Gene Simmons and the sale with this group of more than 100 million records.

Until the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic, the group that created anthems such as “I Was Made For Lovin ‘You” were focused on what should be the last tour in their history, a “tour” left behind. in brackets by health restrictions and that it should be resumed this summer.
