The umpteenth injury, albeit minor, has relieved the people of the Juventus all the doubts that seemed now behind Paul Pogba. No injury, just a muscle overload which however takes the French midfielder back in time and interrupts the recovery path that the club and Allegri had set for him. A very important problem for the team, but also for the club which has the symbol of the last transfer campaign in the ex-Manchester United (this year’s campaign was mainly null) and the highest paid player in the squad.
GIUNTOLI’S STRATEGY – It goes without saying that when the Juventus management, led at the time by Andrea Agnelliclosed this operation had different plans and expectations. Pogba earns around 8 million euros net plus bonuses (with the gross benefits of the Growth Decree, we arrive at just over 10 million euros) to which must be added, although it was a free transfer, the cost of the commissions for the operation which bring the annual cost of the player in the budget at around 11.1 million euros. Giuntoli he is convinced that, given his performance on the pitch (so far Pogba has cost around 60 thousand euros per minute played READ HERE), these figures can be revised downwards.
MEETING WITH PIMENTA – For this, according to what learned from Calciomercato.com, Rafaela Pimenta, the player’s agent and lawyer, is expected at the Continassa by the end of the week, with which the most important of the meetings will be held. Juve’s requests will be two: or a clean cut of salary with the signing of a new agreement perhaps with an extended term of one year (therefore substantially spreading the salary) or a change in the fixed portion by reducing the net amount and reaching 8 million only thanks to the bonuses also linked to attendance in the field. It is difficult for the player to accept such a clear downsizing, especially after having rejected more economically advantageous offers from Saudi Arabia for Juventus.
