Paul Pogba Raises the Palestinian Flag at Old Trafford

Support for the people’s struggle Palestine continues to flow from the green field. This time the country’s flag was flown Paul pogba at Old Trafford.

Palestine, which has been the target of Israeli attacks, has received a lot of support from civil society, including Muslim footballers.

Several players and club supporters have expressed their support for Palestinian Independence. From Pogba, Mohamed Salah, to supporters of clubs like Celtic FC.

As Pogba approached the stands behind the goal, three supporters called out to him, greeting him “Assalamualaikum.” Apparently they gave Pogba a Palestinian flag to carry.

After shaking hands with the French midfielder, one of the supporters shouted with joy. Sure enough, after getting it, Pogba immediately flew the Palestinian flag while continuing the victory lap.

He held the flag with Amad Diallo and uploaded it on his social media accounts. For information, the Premier League has indeed allowed fans to attend the stadium in the last two weeks, with a maximum limit of around 15 percent of capacity.

“Let’s protect the earth so that it remains safe and free from violence. Pray for Palestini,” said Pogba, adding prayer emojis and images of the earth.
