Paul Onuachu and Eboue Kouassi are back in Genk

Racing Genk welcomed the return of striker Paul Onuachu and median Eboue Kouassi on Sunday. Onuachu, a Nigerian, and Kouassi, an Ivorian, were still in Africa due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The club managed to get them back to Europe via Paris.

Onuachu trained until mid-May before leaving for Nigeria. He returned to Genk overnight from Friday to Saturday, via Paris. Kouassi had continued to train individually after the end of collective training and then flew to his native country. He returned to Belgium Thursday evening. On Sunday morning, the two players took their tests at the Adlon medical center in Diepenbeek. If all goes well, Onuachu and Kouassi will join the group later this week. Simon Deli (Club Bruges) and Pierre Desiré Zebli, from Genk’s B team, were present on the flight to Europe.
