The original Destiny game had some real shooting stars. In addition to Peter Dinklage as OG Ghost, Bill Nighy as Speaker, Lauren Cohan as Exo Stranger, and Lance Reddick, Nathan Fillion and Gina Torres as Commander Zavala, Cayde-6 and Ikora Rey respectively, the game also featured music from The Beatles’ Paul McCartney.
As for that last point, it looks like McCartney’s music will return to Bungie’s sci-fi game series, as an Instagram post from orchestrator Ella Feingold (thanks, VGC) recently gave us a glimpse of some of the music that appears to be in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, and “that P. McCartney” is mentioned as a songwriter.
There’s no word on exactly what this music will be used for or if it will actually be in The Final Shape, but with a Destiny Showcase scheduled for August 22nd, we may find out more soon.
