Paul Lasne is back in Brest • Actufoot • Pro / amateur football news

Paul Lasne is once again, and officially, a Stade Brestois player. The 32-year-old midfielder, victim of a cruciate ligament rupture of the knee last April, has re-engaged with the Finistère club through a contract signed on Tuesday. This binds him to SB29 until the end of the 2021/2022 season. At 32, the native of Saint-Cloud (Hauts-de-Seine) is therefore making a new start, he whose first lease expired on June 30.

Double reunion

Arrived in Brittany in 2019 against 2.5 million euros, he had, over the past two seasons, played 41 Ligue 1 matches, before being seriously injured last April. His last match dates back to March 21, when Angers received on behalf of the 30th day of the championship. Left free by his club at the end of last season, Paul Lasne had resumed the path of collective training at the beginning of the week with Stade Brestois. Depending on the progress of his rehabilitation and given his state of form, he will soon be able to apply for a place in the group of Michel Der Zakarian, the Pirates trainer he had known between 2017 and 2019 in Montpellier.
