LOS ANGELES – LA Clippers forward Paul George was ruled out of Friday’s game against the Boston Celtics with a sore bone in his right foot.
George was added to the injury report Friday afternoon. The Clippers coach, Ty Lue, said he did not know how George suffered the injury or how long he could be out.
“We are going to miss him,” Lue said. “I wish him a speedy recovery while we try to find out [más sobre la lesión] … I’m not quite sure when he started to feel it. I just hope we get it back soon. “
The Celtics will not have Jaylen Brown, who was ruled out early Friday with a sore left knee.
George was coming off one of his best games of the season, hitting 8 of 9 3-pointers and scoring 36 points in a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
