It has been a difficult start to the season for the Dutch manager. Manchester United are in 14th place in the league, they have drawn in the first two games in the Europa League against Porto and Twente respectively.
The former star player is convinced that Erik ten Hag‘s time at Old Trafford should be over. In an interview with SportsCastingUK he says he “feels sorry for ten Old Women”.

He wants to see Sir Alex Ferguson, who is 82, back on the coaching bench, more than twelve years after he gave it up.

He has particularly noticed the performance and attitude of Marcus Rashford.
“I like Rashford and I think he’s a fantastic player, but he doesn’t seem to care. Even when he scores, he doesn’t seem happy about it, so there’s something going on there. If that’s the case, just move on.

He believes that the key for Rashford is to leave the island of the British ball.
– Rashford doesn’t seem happy about playing in England anyway. And some good clubs will try to get him. Go to Italy, it will shake him. He shook me a little.

This is not the first time “Gazza” is talking about a Manchester United player. Earlier this year, after Rashford’s highly publicized “lazy ball”, he gave Rashford a mixture of warning and encouragement.
