Paul de Leeuw can’t be bothered if his greatest successes have been. The 61-year-old presenter realizes that he is no longer one of the most popular presenters of the moment.
“I now do what comes my way and what I like,” De Leeuw said in the NPO radio program Never sleep again. He says he is no longer in “the top five of most popular presenters or showmasters. Sometimes you still think that, but that is simply not the case.”
The Leo can live with that knowledge. “I don’t mind that because I have a very nice private situation and because there are other fun things to do.” He is very happy with that Knoop & de Leeuw, the talk show he makes with people with intellectual disabilities. “There is little left Button written, but I get so many good messages from people watching. Then I feel the appreciation.”
The presenter also “no longer has the urge to be on TV again for twelve weeks”. He is looking forward to 2024 being a relatively quiet year. “I’ve worked very hard this year, actually too much. From January I only have my theater program and my podcast. I can really look forward to that.”
De Leeuw will start another series in the autumn of 2024 Button are making it for a second season Can’t be made small in the planning.
