The year 2020 will always be remembered for the millions of deaths that the Covid-19 pandemic has left in its wake, with countless family dramas.

But, in this year that has already ended, there have been many famous people from different fields who have said goodbye to us for one reason or another, others too soon.

We remind you of some of these people who have left their mark forever in a year to forget:

Pau Donés (June 9): The Catalan singer died after five years of fighting cancer, being an example of life and leaving a great legacy.

Armando Manzanero (December 28): considered by specialists, press and musicians as one of the most successful composers in Latin America, he died of Covid at the age of 85.

Paolo Rossi (9 December): Mythical Italian striker, world champion in 1982, died at the age of 64.

Alejandro Sabella (December 8): Argentine soccer player and coach, runner-up in the world with the national team, died at the age of 66.

Maradona (November 25): he died after an operation after suffering a heart problem that caused him to suffer from pulmonary edema. For many, the best footballer in all of history, he led Argentina to glory with the 1986 world championship. Argentina mourned his death like a hero.

Sean Connery (October 31): the best James Bond in history left us at 90. He won an Oscar, two Baftas and three Golden Globes. One of Hollywood’s ‘hotties’.

Kobe Bryant (January 26): 2020 has already started badly with the tragic death of one of the best basketball players in history. A plane accident took his life, that of his daughter Gianna María and eight other people. His death at age 41 shocked the whole world.

Kirl Douglas (February 5): At 103 years old, the mythical Spartacus, an actor who participated in more than 100 films, won an Oscar in 1996 for his great career.

Michael Robinson (28 abril): He fought for more than a year against a cancer that he could not defeat, dying at the age of 61. British footballer with an eternal smile was a pioneer in programs such as The Day After or Informe Robinson; it will always remain in the memory.

Julio Anguita (May 16): He died at the age of 78 after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest. He was a key figure on the Spanish left moving away from the PSOE and was the first communist mayor of Córdoba.

Luis Eduardo Aute (April 4): Sculptor, painter and film director, he especially stood out as a singer-songwriter publishing 19 studio albums, with songs like De paso, Al Alba or Rosas en el Mar. He died at the age of 76.

Lorenzo Sanz (March 21): The coronavirus took at the age of 76 (in just 3 days) one of the protagonists in the history of Real Madrid, returning the European Cup to the white club with the Seventh and the Eighth.

Quino (September 30): At 88 he left us a genius of humor with Mafalda as the protagonist. In 2014 he was awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities.

Radomir Antic (April 6): He died at the age of 71 from pancreatitis that he had been battling for a long time. He will especially be remembered for the double achieved with Atlético de Madrid after winning the League and Copa del Rey.

Rosa María Xardá (June 11): actress, comedian and presenter died at the age of 79 after a tough fight against cancer. In 2010 he received the Academy Gold Medal.

David Gistau (February 9): At the age of 49, one of the brightest columnists died after fighting for two months to save his life after entering the Hospital unconscious after collapsing while practicing boxing. He worked at El Mundo and his death caused a stir in the world of journalism.

Lucía Bosé (March 23): Covid-19 took his life at the age of 89. Renowned actress, she became very popular after marrying the bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguín.
