Patriots acquire JuJu Smith-Schuster from the Kansas City Chiefs in NFL deal

The next notable deal in the NFL: The New England Patriots will sign JuJu Smith-Schuster to a three-year, $33 million deal.

The wide receiver, who just won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, gets loud ESPN-Insider Adam Shefter made $22.5 million in the first two years of the deal.

Incidentally, it is the first long-term deal for the 26-year-old after his rookie contract, which was previously repeatedly hindered by bad luck with injuries.

The veteran, who also had five seasons with the Pittsburg Steeles, caught 78 passes for 933 yards and three touchdowns during the past regular season.

Smith-Schuster continued to impress in the postseason, catching seven in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl triumph over the Philadelphia Eagles.
