The premier foreign competition among men did not go as expected for Patrik Zdráhal, he says goodbye in Lulea after only eight rounds. The Swedish club announced this on their Twitter account.
After a successful season in Litvínov, in which he scored 33 points for 16 goals and 17 assists, the 28-year-old striker signed a two-year contract in the north of Europe and was looking forward to his first foreign senior engagement.
But…
He didn’t get much space from coach Thomas Berglund. His ice time continued to dwindle until he was completely dropped from the lineup in the last few games. And so it is not surprising that he closed the season with zero points on his account.
Now it is clear that Patrik Zdráhal is leaving Luleå Hockey for new challenges.
