Gérard Depardieu has been talked about a lot in recent months. On April 11, 13 women testified in the columns of Mediapart, evoking sexual violence of which they were victims or which they witnessed. A case that was discussed on the set of Do not touch My TV this Tuesday, December 19. Patrick Sébastien was Cyril Hanouna’s guest and he made comments that shocked Géraldine Maillet. The singer begins by saying that he watches Baba’s show. “Have you looked at my Additional Investigation?”, asked the host. To which Patrick Sébastien replied: “Of course I looked. Gérard’s too. On the set of the show, Patrick Sébastien continues his explanation: “Already the anonymous testimonies… On yours and on Gérad’s, stolen images…”. However, the singer was quickly cut off by Géraldine Maillet. “For Gérard Depardieu, there are still women who have filed complaints of rape. This is not a white man’s hunt”, she says. For his part, Patrick Sébastien spoke again to clarify his remarks. “Once again in Gérard’s thing, there are two things. You cannot condone the comments”he assures before adding: “And rape is a complaint but for now, we are waiting for the courts to decide.” For Patrick Sébastien, the “media court” is something that bothers him. “I was with Ary Abittan recently and he told me that he was exonerated but who knows? So when it came out, everyone was talking about it”declares the singer before specifying: “Let’s wait until people are judged.”

This is not the first time that Patrick Sébastien has mentioned the Gérard Depardieu affair. On the set of BFMTV this Monday, December 18, the singer made some remarkable remarks. He notably mentioned the fact that the actor could see himself withdrawn from the Legion of Honor received in 1996. “If we have to take it away from Depardieu, there are other people from whom we will have to take it away”, declared Patrick Sébastien. And regarding the comments made by Gérard Depardieu? “I know him well, Gérard Depardieu, he’s a living person. For me and this is just my opinion, he is not a rapistfor me, but I could be wrong, I do not doubt the word”he declared, then adding: “Afterwards it is not forgivable, the extract I saw with the little girl didn’t please me at all and it can’t please anyone. As for the rape accusations… I’m tired of people being judged before they’re really judged.” A very cash opinion.
