Jackson, the brother of Patrick Mahomes who is a Kansas City quarterback, was arrested in Missouri, United States on four charges against him; three of aggrieved sexual assault and one more of assault.
According to information from various media, Jackson Mahomes was detained with the possibility of $100,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court.
His lawyer, Brandan Joseph Davies, said the court has barred him and his client from commenting on what happened at the Aspens Restaurant and Lounge.
In March, Jackson released a statement at the time the allegations at first instance came to light, telling him that there is sufficient evidence to reject the charges against him.
The victim, who is the stepdaughter of the owner of the place, said: “He kissed me out of nowhere.” In addition, she explained that she did it on a couple more occasions.
