Hahn had already celebrated his debut with the renowned orchestra in 2019. “In the meantime I have had the honor of conducting this incredibly versatile orchestra several times and I am very much looking forward to future joint projects,” said Hahn in a broadcast.
Engagements in Wuppertal and Istanbul
With this, the Graz native is continuing the career that has already led him to the podium of such important orchestras as the Munich Philharmonic, the BR Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Symphony. The Munich engagement is not the only one of the new season for the busy conductor and pianist: Parallel to Munich, he will also become Germany’s youngest general music director in Wuppertal and has recently taken on the position of first guest conductor with the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra.
