Patricia’s Journey to Eurovision: From ‘Hush’ to Confidence and Readiness

“You didn’t want me last year, you won’t!” Patricia said with a laugh.

She never says never. “It just has to happen very naturally. The song ‘Hush’ came very naturally and the whole vision of the show came together. It gave me such a sense of readiness and confidence. I don’t feel like I have to try every year. I feel like it’s a little desperate.”

She does not point to a specific artist. “It’s not about anybody in particular. It’s about me. I’m not desperate for it. If I get a new vision for something to be a part of, then why not.”

It has already been announced that last year the singer Patriša with the song “Hush” came in second place in the final of the Latvian Television (LTV) contest “Supernova” of the national Eurovision selection.

Latvia was represented at the 67th international Eurovision Song Contest by the group “Sudden Lights” with the song “Aija”, but did not enter the final.
