She posted a sweet photo of the reunion on Instagram. “Good news today!”, that’s how she begins her post. “After all those weeks in the hospital, I have finally moved to a location closer to Rotterdam, which of course makes it a lot easier to get a visit from my husband, my sister or my daughter.” This is not possible without the necessary safety measures, she says. “Checked for corona and luckily still corona-free. However, the rules have been tightened everywhere regarding the number of people who can come by, which is a bit of a shame in this time.”

What makes Patricia very happy is that she can finally cuddle her dogs again. “I can hardly express in words how happy that makes me. Mop and Lilliy are also a bit my children and I have really missed them enormously in recent weeks. Finally they were allowed to visit. What a great reunion that was. It was really clear that they miss me too.”

As for her recovery, Patricia says things are looking positive. She can start working on her rehabilitation in the near future. “Fun partying with everyone is not yet in it, but I am very happy with what I have already achieved. As you know, I always remain positive and the glass is always half full with me”, she concludes her post.
