Patricia and Stephan wake up in their hotel room in Seville, hands intertwined. “Sleep pretty well, right?” Patricia asks her new husband. “I slept very well,” he replies. He later tells on camera: “It’s nice to wake up next to each other. It already feels a bit familiar. This morning we automatically crawled towards each other a bit. A bit of cuddling.”
The fact that the two feel familiar with each other is also a must. Their bathroom is completely made of glass. “Everything is glass. So we immediately said: ‘Maybe we should go naked right away’,” says Stephan.
His lovebird Patricia laughs: “Yes, you have to expose yourself in some way. Because we immediately have a good click, it also feels familiar. It doesn’t really matter that you are on the toilet and that you are talking to the other person. So that’s nice, otherwise it would be awkward and uncomfortable.”
And it is clear that they are doing well. Patricia makes sure that Stephan’s hair is pico bello. She has the necessary criticism of his styling skills. “I have thought in recent days that it could be better. But at least he has hair, so I was happy with that for a long time,” Patricia screams. In any case, Stephan is happy with the end result.
Later that day they both have a conversation with expert Anne Campagne. Patricia indicates that she mainly feels a friendly click with Stephan. “We have a lot of common ground and similarities. I like that very much, only I ask myself: should I feel something now? Maybe I find that difficult subconsciously. I feel really comfortable. I want the spark like to feel.”
Anne gives her a tip to let go of that ‘wanting to feel’ and to be more in the moment and enjoy her time with her husband. The spark must occur naturally.
Stephan also talks to Anne. “It’s been a fairy tale so far,” he beams to the expert. He shares with her his greatest fear. “What I got stuck on in my previous relationships was that I ended up in the friend zone. I want to try to remain challenging for Patricia. That she keeps thinking: I want to know, feel and see more of him instead of it being too cozy will be, what I normally always have.”
Stephan also knows how to go about conquering Patricia. “I want to make it work because I think she’s a really nice woman. So I’m very aware of my points.” He will therefore take the lead more and walk the experiment less like an enthusiastic puppy.
You can see how the fairy tale of Stephan and Patricia ends every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8.30 p.m. on RTL 4. At Videoland you can watch Married At First Sight back and forward.
