Patrice and his Yamaha Tracer 900 at Team Menduni in Grenoble

It was in Grenoble, in front of the Yamaha Team Menduni dealership, that I met Patrice riding his Tracer 900. He was going to follow the Tour de France stage the next day towards Méribel riding a Niken. He tells us about his Yamaha Tracer 900.

Patrice: I have a Yamaha MT 09 Tracer. I bought this bike to ride, I do a lot of driving, the flexibility of the bike, the riding position. With Yamaha, I got to know the 125, after I switched to the 6 and a half and after that I switched to this one. The 700 was not powerful enough when I am a safety rider on bicycle races. I have been a coach, I have been club president, bicycle fan and motorcycle fan. I bought it here because I have known Menduni for a very long time, at the time he ran the Cours Jean Jaurès store and we are both originally from Meylan.

What are you doing with your Yamaha Tracer 900?

Patrice: Lots of walks, vacations, we had a good little weekend, we went down above Nice, a weekend of 800 and a few terminals … it’s going well. We went to see the French Superbike championship at Le Mans, and I’m going to the Bol d’Or except this year (laughs). I do not drive much to get to work, but next year I will drive a little more because I will be retired. To travel, I have the Top Case, 2 suitcases in normal times, the comfort saddle, the Tom Tom GPS and projectors, for bike races or when riding at night.

Thank you Patrice for this testimony around your Yamaha Tracer 900, Patrice who had the chance to follow the day after my visit to the Yamaha Team Menduni dealership, the stage of the Tour de France from Grenoble to Méribel on the handlebars of a Niken.
