Erbil (Iraq): The Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East, Mar Ave III, will visit India from January 4th to 14th.
At 18:00 Holy Mass will be celebrated in the Great Thrissur Marthmariam Church of the Eastern Chaldean Syrian Church. On the day of the memory of Mar Yohannan Mamdana, Holy Mass will be offered in the East Kota church. Will be back on 14.
Dr. Mar Aprem Metropolitan and Mar Augin Episkopa participate in the Holy Synod which will be held in Iraq until the 19th. A further program of visits to India will be decided in Sunnahados.
Kurdistan President Masoud Barzani inaugurated the civic reception reserved for Sunnahados participants. Also present were the Pope’s representative, Mar Luis Sacco and other religious leaders.
