A 56-year-old patient lit a cigarette in a hospital in Villingen-Schwennigen (Schwarzwald-Baar district), although he was connected to an oxygen machine. As the police announced on Monday, the nose tube caught fire on Friday and ignited the smoker’s blanket and trousers. The man suffered minor burns. The damage is estimated at several hundred euros.
