Zuzana Donutilová (62) and Miroslav Donutil (71): 44 years old
Their recipe for endurance? They rarely see each other, so they look forward to seeing each other. Mrs. Zuzana is reconciled to the fact that her husband’s profession takes a lot of time. “I simply chose a man who has a lot of work, and I count on that.” And so she bought a cafe to have a place to realize herself. “What I admire about her is that she is very tolerant, very intelligent and very goal-oriented. And I’m glad I have it,” says the famous actor.

Markéta Fišerová (62) a Mark Eben (64): 40 let
They met at the conservatory, both had a good foothold on their acting careers. They got married young, unfortunately they were met with cruel blows. Markéta gave birth to a baby girl prematurely, who died a few days later. At the age of 26, she suffered a stroke that left her in a wheelchair, and her husband lovingly cares for her to this day. “I was lucky – I know that Markéta is the right one for me, and I would never leave her. No one in our family did that. Ebens do not divorce,” he says.

God Vise (86) and Zdeněk Svěrák (86): 63 years old
He belongs to the record holders. Even though the actor and famous screenwriter has always been among the favorites of many ladies and has longed for another’s arms more than once, they endured! They have two children (now also grandchildren and great-grandchildren), son Jan (57) is a director. They met at university, both studied Czech. While Zdeněk fled to the theater, Bozena remained faithful to her teaching profession.
Jana Preissová (74) and Viktor Preiss (75): 53 years old
They got married in 1969 and since then they had to overcome many crises, but they survived them all. In the 1980s, Viktor’s infidelity and an illegitimate child, Jana’s depression came later, and nine years ago also the suicide attempt of her son Martin (49). “There is still love in us and I hope it will be until death,” Jana declared not long ago.

Andrea Bartošková (69) and Jiří Bartoška (75): 46 years old
Handsome, elegant, the idol of many Czech girls and women. He certainly had no shortage of offers, yet he remained by his wife’s side for 46 years. Although Andrea is not an actress, she is close to art – she is an archaeologist, and she also participates in social events with her husband. “Don’t ask me to tell anyone how to do it. We never discussed it separately,” said the actor. Maybe that’s why it still works for them today.

Adriana Sobotová (60) and Luděk Sobota (79): 41 years
They met during the filming, Adriana was just coming of age at the time. They married two years later and are still together today, despite the actor being rumored to be a famous bowman, which he really was! “There is no recipe for a good marriage, it’s a coincidence, you just have to catch the first one in the lottery and that’s it,” he answers fondly when asked how to maintain a happy relationship.
