NEW JERSEY – A shooting on a street in Paterson, New Jersey, injured three people Saturday afternoon, the city’s mayor said. The wounds are not life-threatening for the victims, he added.
The shootings occurred in North Main Street in the middle of the day, Mayor Andre Sayegh told our sister network News 4. All three victims were expected to make a full recovery.
Sayegh also said three people were in custody in connection with the shooting.
A preliminary investigation suggests the shooting was the result of some sort of ongoing dispute that resulted in the shooting, according to the mayor.
Police arrested the suspects without incident.
The case remains under investigation.
