Paterna incorporates the taxi sector as a priority activity affected by the coronavirus crisis
The City Council of Paterna (Valencia) has incorporated the taxi sector as one of the priority activities affected by the COVID-19 crisis contemplated in the second call for the Parenthesis Aid of the Resist Plan that the council plans to launch throughout this month of April.
This has been transferred by the Mayor of Paterna, Juan Antonio Sagredo to the president of the Provincial Guild Association of Autotaxis of Valencia, Ismael Arráez and to the Secretary of the entity, José Ramón Giménez during the meeting that they have held today in the City of Paterna to address the serious situation that the taxi sector is going through and collaborate in the articulation of this line of aid.
Throughout the meeting, both leaders have agreed to coordinate what documentation the taxi drivers residing in the municipality must present to qualify for these subsidies with the aim that these direct aids reach the taxi drivers of Paterna.
Mayor Juan Antonio Sagredo “has highlighted the great effort that taxi professionals are making and their involvement as an essential sector during the most complicated months of the pandemic” and has announced that the council will be as effective and agile as possible to that paternal taxi drivers are among the first in the sector to have the aid entered into their accounts.
For their part, both Ismael Arráez and José Ramón Giménez thanked the mayor and the City Council for both their speed in receiving them and the incorporation of the taxi sector in the Parenthesis Grants.
