Good morning!
Out of nowhere, a patch is ready for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Patch 2.01 adds a 4K/60fps mode to the PS5 version of the game, among other things.
Good news for gamers who regularly add a PS+ game to their library and then forget to play it! With the new update of Shadow of the Tomb Raider you can enjoy it on the PS5 in 4K, with 60fps. The Series X/S version will also receive “next-gen enhancements”, as evidenced by the ‘optimized for Series X/S’ sticker that the game will feature in the Microsoft Store has got.
Now you may wonder if there is also extra content hidden in the patch, but unfortunately that is not the case. It’s really just about unlocking the frame rate and adding a high-resolution mode on the PS5, along with some “general stability and performance improvements” and some minor bug fixes. Patch 2.01 is now available for download on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
