Patak Motors Introduces Affordable Retro-Looking Car: Features, Specifications, and Prices

Slovak start-up Patak Motors has presented a compact retro-looking car that will be offered at an affordable price – less than 17,000 euros.

For their project, the Slovaks have chosen a construction that strongly resembles the British Morgan – it is a body with a boat-like shape and motorcycle-like 19-inch wheels placed outside the body. The standard Patak Roadster also lacks a hardtop and a full-size windshield, but the manufacturer can replace these elements with a folding fabric roof and a standard windshield if the buyer chooses a version with a roof.

The two-seater is 3360 mm long, 1360 mm wide and 1395 mm high, weighs only 450 kg and is equipped with a single-cylinder petrol engine that develops 20 HP, reaches 50 km/h in 9 seconds and provides a maximum speed of 125 km/h. Fuel consumption according to the manufacturer’s data – 5.6 liters per 100 km.

Patak Roadster also has an electric modification. In this case, a 15 kW (20 hp) electric motor is used as the driving force, which allows you to run up to 50 km/h in 7 seconds. The maximum speed of the electric model is 130 km/h, and the range is 100 or 250 kilometers, depending on whether a 10 or 20 kilowatt-hour battery is chosen.

Patak Roadster prices start at 16,900 euros for cars with an internal combustion engine, but the electric roadster costs at least 22,900 euros, or 25,400 euros if a variant with a 20 kWh battery is applied for.

In Europe, you can drive this car from the age of 16, if you have obtained category B/B1 rights.
