The bride who died was named Umi Salama, a resident of West Silorentek Hamlet, Karanganyar Village, Kraton District, Pasuruan Regency. He died Thursday (25/3/2021), three hours before the marriage contract.
Head of RT 5 / RW 1 Karanganyar Village, Nurul Huda, said wedding invitations had spread. The wedding tent has also been established. But fate changes the atmosphere of joy wedding to mourn death.
“Nobody expected. But residents who were invited still bowo (donate),” said Nurul Huda, Saturday (27/3/2021).
Ali, a local community leader, added that the late Salama’s parents had tried hard to cure their child’s illness. But age, he said, belongs to God.

In the 20-second video obtained by detik.com, you can see people carrying coffins across residents who mostly wear sarongs and skullcaps. The green clothed coffin was carried from the wedding tent to the funeral.
Then, a man in a white shirt with a black skullcap seemed to dissolve in sadness. Some people calm the man who is the groom.
The incident in the video was confirmed by the deceased aunt. When visiting the funeral home, a middle-aged woman welcomed detikcom. The woman claimed to be Salama’s late aunt.
“That’s a plan marriage contract Thursday night Friday, finished isha. But my nephew died in the afternoon, “said the deceased aunt.
At the funeral home, several women are seen preparing dishes for the deceased’s tahlilan. Some of the jajajans that were meant for marriage are still there.
“Please, I can’t talk much. I’m afraid that his parents (deceased) are not pleased. Inside, I’m still grieving,” said the woman, who did not give a name.
