Pastoral advisor Daniel Gewand invites young adults to church service: Today digitally celebrate “Easter anyway” – Coesfeld

Why did he choose the Friday after Easter of all places? “We are still in the week after Easter and I was optimistic and when planning the plan, I thought that one or the other would still be responsible for Easter.” And so today there is again a service for all participants in their own four walls and on the sofa at home. Corresponding texts and prayers ensure the Easter commemoration. “What’s special is that Rainer Kowanda, a musician from Oberhausen, joins in and provides the musical entertainment,” says Daniel Gewand happily. “He will play hymns as well as popular songs from the radio. Everyone can sing along and don’t have to worry. We’re all muted, so the others can’t hear it, ”he adds with a wink.

Easter is always the festival of confidence and hope. “In these times in particular, this is difficult on the one hand, but all the more necessary to convey on the other.” Daniel Gewand advises those who believe that the right atmosphere cannot be created at home: “For example, I light a candle. That reminds me of church. But that’s different for everyone. ”

If you want to attend the frei.raum.gottesdienst tonight at 8 p.m., you can spontaneously register with Daniel Gewand, either by email to [email protected] or by messenger, Tel. 0160/97032211. The corresponding link for participation will then be forwarded shortly beforehand.
