Passover 2024, what will change this night, we will all be asked…Stella Weinstein remembers where she was on October 6 – Ashdod News

Everything, everything changed that night.

The question that has been repeated for thousands of years,
Why is she even asked?
What does it mean?
Will we repeat the same story over and over again?
Shall we perpetuate our past?
What is really important is that we must know how to ask. This year we have to ask!
To ask you need to understand.
A person needs to be involved in the environment he lives in, to know the world he lives in.
The question itself is important, but there should also be an answer. An answer that leads to action.

Because change requires both adjustment, thought and soul-searching.
What happened this year is unbelievable. It is impossible to move to the agenda.
You can’t sweep it under the rug.

Seder night is a night of strengthening family ties and renewed closeness. This is a night when our doors are open to admit guests, so that they too can celebrate with us and feel the heat of the holiday. In all four corners of the country Jews gather on Seder night and tell the experimental story of our journey from slavery to freedom, on Seder night tonight the story is resurrected, our brothers and sisters are far from freedom, and we are also so far from freedom, we are all in great pain together with them. On this night we share a great story, a common language, hopes and aspirations.

This year, more than ever, it is a night of unity – a unity that is also expressed in prayers for the correction and redemption of all humanity, but mainly for the redemption of our people.
May we find the strength to make peace within ourselves, may the terrible pain we experienced at Simchat Torah find some relief in the miracle of the return of our abductees! That this difficult time of the war will end and the tens of thousands of people displaced from their homes in the north and south will return to their homes.

“From the ends of the earth the oath rises
Breaks walls, washes away tears
My brother’s keeper is selfish
There is still room in my heart
selfish brother keeper”

At this time unity is the cure for everything and this Passover I shout with all my voice, my selfish brother keeper.

Passover unites, unites and redeems the people of Israel
