Reddit member Prestigious_Gate_615 created a passively cooled PC Ryzen 7 7700X, RTX 4060 with 2 massive radiators without fans. The design uses NH-P1 radiators from Noctua as the main passive cooling component. The build uses an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X processor, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, which suggests that passive cooling can support modern components. Despite using the lowest TDP GPU in NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace line, the enthusiast adjusted the TDP to 90W from the usual 115W to reach temperatures 80-85 ° C at 100% load.

The Ryzen 7 7700X has also been put into “Eco Mode”, meaning its TDP has been reduced to 88W and its temperature limit has been set to 95 ° C. Reducing the power limits here was necessary because despite the Noctua’s larger heatsink, they can’t properly cool the components.
