“Updating the air filtration system in the aircraft cabin to filter bacterial and viral contaminants up to 99%, to the implementation of regular fleet disinfection procedures to maintain the cleanliness of the aircraft cabin-can be a continuous step that we believe can maximize prevention measures and minimize the risk of spreading the virus on board the aircraft. , said Irfan.

Furthermore, Irfan said that Garuda Indonesia carried out various adaptive steps to support efforts to overcome the pandemic to run optimally and in line with the Company’s continuous steps to ensure the availability of healthy, safe and comfortable flight service accessibility for the Indonesian people, especially during this Emergency PPKM period.
