The traffic accident was so sudden and happened quite quickly that most of the passengers on the bus screamed and panicked. Exchange with PLOmany passengers shared the terrifying moment.
The passenger who witnessed from the beginning of the incident to the process of rescuing the victims trapped in the car was Mr. Hoang Duc Long (living in Ea Kao commune, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak). Mr. Long took a bus from Buon Ma Thuot City to Hanoi this morning.

Mr. Long said: “I was lying in bed No. 3. I heard the driver scream, then steered but the car could not dodge, still had a collision. After that, the passenger car lost control and ran straight into people’s houses.”
After the accident, the sound of many people in the car was injured, screaming in panic. At this time, Mr. Long was the one who was still awake, and along with others pulled the injured people out.

At the same time as the accident, Ms. Do Thi Hong Lien (owner of the house whose wall collapsed, at La Son – Ham Rong junction, Chi Lang ward, Pleiku city), said: “At the time of the accident, My family is eating in the back. I heard a loud crash, shaking the whole house. I was so scared, I stood behind the house, after a while I came out to see that there was a fatal accident.”

As reported by PLO, around 12:10 am this afternoon, passenger car BKS 47B-022… traveling on Vo Nguyen Giap street towards Dak Lak – Pleiku city (section of National Highway 14 – Ho Chi Minh section through Pleiku city) then Suddenly an accident happened, hitting the back of the truck BKS 81C1… driven by driver Tran Huy Hung (27 years old, living in Kon Dung town, Mang Yang district) from La Son street to Vo Nguyen Giap.
After the passenger car hit the back of the truck, the passenger car continued to crash into two houses in the opposite direction. The accident left two people dead on the spot and eight others seriously injured. There were about 26 people on the bus at the time of the accident.
According to initial verification, two people died, including bus driver Nguyen Xuan Dong (52 years old, living in Dak Lak) and a passenger.
