Passengers from the Metropolitano formed lines that reached the Vía Expresa due to lack of buses

Hundreds of people gathered on Wednesday night at various stations of the Metropolitan to form long lines that reached to the Express way, due to the lack of buses.

This situation was recorded from the Estadio Nacional station in Enclosed Lima until the July 28 station in Miraflores.

At the Angamos station more than 200 people gathered and formed a line that reached the Express way and it extended to the Leonardo Barbieri shred, passing under the Junín bridge.

One of the passengers indicated to RPP News that the buses took an hour to get to the station, which caused an agglomeration of people at the stations.

In this regard, from Metropolitan indicated that the circulation of buses was restoring, after an accident was recorded in the Central Station.

A bus ended up crammed against the glass partition in the north-south direction on the Central Metropolitan Station. Protransporte issued a statement in which they indicated that the bus was not carrying passengers and that only the driver was injured.

They added that after this accident, services were suspended for 30 minutes and also arranged the transfer of buses to meet the high demand of users.
