In Florida, the lone passenger on a small plane was forced to land the plane safely after the pilot collapsed. The American news channel WPBF writes that he succeeded with the help of air traffic control.
According to WPBF, the pilot collapsed, causing the plane to go into a nosedive. The passenger then grabbed the controls and straightened the small plane, a Cessna 208. The single-engine plane flew more than two and a half kilometers high at the time, reports The Washington Post.
“I have a serious problem here,” the man told air traffic control. The pilot was unconscious. He wasn’t sure where he was, but he knew he could see the Florida coast.
