NEW YORK – A subway passenger is fighting for his life after his clothes got stuck in a train door while getting off a car at a Brooklyn station, he was dragged onto the tracks and struck by another train.

The victim, in her 30s and whose name has not been released, was getting off a northbound Q train at Brooklyn’s Avenue M stop at East 16th Street in Midwood shortly before midnight when her clothing got caught in the door. police said.

The train drove away, dragging the car with it, police say.

At some point, the man fell onto the tracks and was struck by a northbound Q train.

Power was cut to the area so authorities could remove it from the tracks. He was then taken to a hospital, where he was said to be fighting for his life earlier Thursday.
