Passed Lang gets his gram as a substitute: Jong Oranje beats Norway

The Dutch Juniors have also won their sixth game in the European Championship qualification. The team of national coach Erwin van de Looi booked a difficult victory in Almere over the peers of Norway thanks to Noa Lang and Myron Boadu.

The Dutch talents won the much-discussed game with Belarus last weekend with no less than 0-7. Compared to that game, Van de Looi, who was back on the line after his trip to Orange, made three changes: Jordan Teze, Noa Lang and Justin Hoogma made way for Deyovaisio Zeefuik, Javairô Dilrosun and Sven Botman.

The Dutch Juniors struggled to break through the Norwegian wall and forced little in the first half. Just before half time, Dilrosun got the first serious opportunity, but he fired into the side net. Then Boadu headed on the crossbar. In the second half, Ryan Gravenberch was also close to a goal, but his shot ended just wide of the goal.

On the other hand, the Norwegians also came out dangerous a few times. Jens Petter Hauge should have scored, but AZ’s Hakon Evjen’s last pass was too sloppy. After that, the Juniors struck thanks to substitute Lang. The Ajax attacker fired convincingly in at the far post from a cross by Dani de Wit.

After the Juniors escaped the tying run when the Norwegians hit the post, Boadu made the decision from the counter. As a result, the Juniors are proudly in the lead in the qualifying pool. The lead on number two Young Portugal is six points, although the Portuguese still have a duel credit.
