The winners of the first “World’s 50 Best Hotels” were announced on Wednesday, with two hotels in Hong Kong ranking among the top five. The first place on the list is the Passalacqua Hotel on the shores of Lake Como in Italy, the second is the Rosewood Hotel in Hong Kong (see picture), and the Upper House Hotel (Hong Kong) is ranked fourth.
Five of the top 10 are located in Asia. In addition to the two Hong Kong hotels mentioned above, there are also the Four Seasons Hotel in Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River (ranked 3rd), Aman Tokyo Hotel (ranked 5th) and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok (ranked 5th). No. 10).
This ranking list was launched by the British business media company William Reed. The company has launched the “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” list since 2002. This is the first time it has set foot in hotel rankings. The voting panel consisted of 580 travel industry insiders and journalists, who ranked the seven best hotels they had stayed at in the past two years in order of preference.
