Kotzia reacts – Harilaou Trikoupi answers
With the messages of the opinion polls being positive, the composition of the new bodies being characterized as diverse and at the same time historical officials talking about “opening Androulakis”, the PaSoK is preparing to accelerate its pace and exert a suffocating brand on New Democracy, the next space.
Intervention is the only voice of reaction Grace Duke. The Mayor of Athens expressed through his colleagues his objection to the composition of the new body, which will outline the planning and strategy of the party. In this organ, among others, he participates, the Pavlos Geroulanos and the Anna Diamantopouloubut are absent Michalis Katrinis and Nadia Giannakopoulouwho were also nominated and finished in the bottom two spots. A telling element of his disagreement, with this move by Nikos Androulakis, is the fact that in the informal information received by the journalists, the Doukas side typically states that “the overall choices, responsibilities, structures and positions in the party and in the Parliament, unfortunately they do not exude the feeling of unity and do not promote the necessary compositions and transcendences”.
In XArilau Trikoupi they don’t raise the issue. They keep the ball low and stress that “the president’s choices ensure the unity and mobilization of all forces”. However, a leading and historical member of the faction, speaking to BIMA, emphasized that “the Mayor of Athens shows three things with this move. Firstly, how he wants to polarize, to keep his forces after his defeat and to be seen in public opinion as a pole. At the same time, it seems that he is opening up to Michalis Katrinis and Nadia Giannakopoulou. While, he seems to feel annoyed, as Evangelia Liakoulis and Apostolos Panas were removed from their position in the Parliamentary Group, while Manolis Christodoulakis, who supported him in the pre-election campaign as little as possible, did not take a role. On the contrary, Pavlos Geroulanos and Anna Diamantopoulou were upgraded,” he said characteristically.
The new faces
Among those strengthened by the announcements are certainly the new faces that come forward. Kostas Tsoukalas, Lefteris Karchimakis, Myrto Samaras, Katerina Solomou and Katerina Plessia they have a reason to smile and an opportunity to sit at the same table with historical figures and to rise politically. Among the satisfied will be Pavlos Geroulanos, who became the first Parliamentary Representative, holds the Economy portfolio he wanted and will also participate in the Coordinating Political Center. But also Anna Diamantopoulou who is responsible for political planning and will also be present at the Coordinating Political Center. But there is still one person who should feel satisfied and that is the Dodecanese MP George Nikitiadisas he holds the Development portfolio in the PASOK shadow government. An area of politics that will be fought big battles in the Parliament.
