At 17:00, the submission of signatures by the candidate leaders of PaSoK to EDEKAP began, a process that essentially ended at 20:30 and typically at 21:00, Monday night.
The first to testify was Michalis Katrinis, followed by Nadia Giannakopoulou, Anna Diamantopoulou, Pavlos Geroulanos, Haris Doukas and finally the current president of PaSoK, Nikos Androulakis. In fact, Michalis Katrinis was the only one who went in person and submitted the signatures, while the other candidates submitted with representatives.
Details of the signatures collected by the candidates
Nikos Androulakis submitted 24,810 thousand signatures from party members and 170 members of the 300-member Central Committee of the party. Mr. Androulakis also made a related post where he described the central stake of the internal party elections on October 6 in a video he posted on social media. He symbolically chose to be filmed in the local organization of Aianis Kozani, which was one of the first organizations of PaSoK in 1974 in the prefecture and reopened its offices a year ago, as happened in many corners of the country where hundreds of local organizations reopened. “I came here to symbolize my unlimited appreciation and respect towards the thousands of ordinary people of the PASOK, who kept the Democratic Party standing during the difficult years, and to ask them to renew our relationship of trust on October 6 and 13. Because together we can go even stronger, even higher” notes Nikos Androulakis in his message.
In December 1974, the first local organization office in the prefecture was opened in Aiani Kozani. A year ago, the Local Organization of Aianis opened its office again. It was one of the many PASOK offices that opened in every corner of the country.

From his side Harry Doukas submitted 100 signatures of members of the party’s Central Political Committee, a number which, as he emphasizes in his announcement, is twice the limit of 15% of KPE members provided for in article 28 of the PASoK statute. As his entourage points out, they have collected many thousands of signatures of support. The final number will be announced in the coming days
As for him Pavlos Gerulanosubmitted 7,962 signatures to EDEKAP.

At the same time, Yiannis Kanellakis sent a letter to EDEKAP asking for his candidacy to be accepted without having submitted a candidacy so far.
With the collection of signatures, their identification and nominations, PaSoK enters the final stretch for the internal party elections on October 6. In addition, when the president of PaSoK Nikos Androulakis returns from D.E.Th. and the Central Committee is completed on the 15th of the month, developments are also expected in the matter of the debate.

The filing of nominations for the election of the President of the PaSoK-Movement for Change on October 6, 2024 was completed today, Monday at 21:00 pm.
