With statements by Evi Christofilopoulos, PASOK comments on Beleri’s candidacy. “During the televised interview, he testified to what we denounced Mr. Mitsotakis for from the very beginning: that the motivations for the candidacy of the legally elected mayor of Himarra, Mr. Fredy Beleris, are neither national nor European but only vote-hunting”he points out in a statement.
As Harilaou Trikoupi reports, “as the New Democracy candidate characteristically admitted, Mr. Beleris “integrates its right side”, while answering a journalist’s question, he confirmed that the goal is to stop the leakage of voters to the Far Right, even asking “why is this bad?”.
