A breath before his internal party elections PASOK, the two contenders for the leadership of the party are preparing to cross their swords on television and present their positions. Although the date of the debate (telecombat) between the PASOK presidential candidates, Nikos Androulakis and Haris Doukas, remains open, an agreement has been reached on the terms of its conduct on ERT, in view of the second round of the internal party elections on October 13. Everything indicates that the telefight will take place, with a possible date of next Friday.
During the meeting of their representatives with the officials of the Commission for the Elections (EDEKAP), which took place on Tuesday (October 8), a common ground was found regarding the planning of the telefight as well as the thematic sections. However, the date has not yet been determined due to the commitments of the two presidential candidates, but they are making efforts to resolve the issue soon. The Duke side appeared to be available Thursday, Friday, Saturday and is waiting for the answer from the Androulakis side, which had suggested Wednesday-Thursday.
Finally, as it seems, the most likely date for the debate on ERT is Friday, October 11. The staff of the current president of PASOK had arranged for that day a speech by Nikos Androulakis in Thessaloniki and has put up a race to move it a day later, on Saturday, so that the telefight can take place on Friday.
