In an intervention in favor of the candidacy of Haris Doukas for the Presidency of PASoK, Nikos Papandreou stepped forward today, with an article in Kathimerini, stressing, among other things, that between stagnation and change he chooses the latter:
“Haris Doukas seems to have realized the spirit of the times and the necessity to take immediate political action for the bilateral expansion of the Faction and its connection with the productive classes, the Self-Government and Society”.
“So we have the choice to give a second – or, dare I say, a third – chance to a leadership that wasted crucial political time and was judged for it. But there is also the possibility of giving a first chance to a new politician to serve a new political model. This is a central dilemma of the coming Sunday”, states a member of the European Parliament of the PaSoK.
“Niko, let’s go for change” wrote in X, Haris Doukas, accompanying the post with a photo of Nikos Papandreou along with an excerpt from his article.
