Pasewalk: Man on drugs beats student and teacher on train

A 30-year-old was arrested on Friday on a regional train on the way from Berlin to Stralsund (Western Pomerania-Rügen district). He is said to have hit several students and a teacher. The man had several types of drugs in his blood.

According to the federal police, the 30-year-old is said to have jumped up completely suddenly in the compartment and hit three students in the face with the palm of his left hand. A teacher who tried to intervene suffered the same fate. The man then ran into another carriage and tried to spit on and push a railway employee.

Train was stopped in Pasewalk

The staff informed the federal police. The train was stopped in Pasewalk (Western Pomerania-Greifswald district) and searched for the suspect. It turned out that the 30-year-old was already being searched for and was accused of theft.

Opiates, amphetamines, methamphetamines and THC were found in the man’s blood. He is still being investigated. The train was 18 minutes late due to the incident. (price)
